SNOW FUN!!!

Snow Fun in Washington D.C.
Our Nations Capital has been covered in a beautiful blanket of snow. We here at the Poulsen home have loved every bit of it. The children have been home with me having much fun. We have enjoyed snuggling on the couch and playing games, baking yummy food (Nathan choice was Lemon Bars from his Great Grandama Grace!) I really have enjoyed having no schedule, and just being with my kids. I love them so much and enjoy there company. I'm a lucky mom to have such amazing kids!

They had so much fun sleding down a driveway on dustpans!

SO MUCH SNOW!-AWESOME

Our Little Lady Turns Two!
April 7, 2008
Annie is a love and we are so excited to celebrate two years with her. She is a blessing from heaven. Her brother Nathan loves having her here with him. They are good friends and really love to play with each other. She does have a scream that could break ear drums but a smile that warms hearts!

Getting ready for her dog party!

Annie is in love with dogs. We dog walk a beautiful lab named Hannah most days. This is Annie's favorite part of the day. Even when she gets knocked down by her tail! So we had to have a dog party for her this year! We played doggie doggie where is your bone and find the dog footprints.

So Yummy - Dog Cake!

You've had a birthday shout hooray! We want to sing to you today. One year old-and happier too! Happy Birthday to Annie!

A dog cake made with love from mom and dad!

Celebrating with a special friend Abby!

I think Nathan was more excited than Annie!

We were so blessed to have 2 very special families at Annie's birthday. Cousins Dan and Jen Herzog and the Richards family! We love you and miss you! Thank you for sharing this special day with us!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNIE WE LOVE YOU!

"On our Way to the National Kite Flying Festival"
Spring 2008
We have loved our bike trailer we try to ride it whenever we can. The kids are getting quite sung in it though -but with a bag of popcorn they are good to go!

Each year there is a Kite Flying festival on the National Mall. We have made this a family tradition. We take a kite down and and try to make it fly. I must say I am married to one the the best kite flyer's around. He can get any kite up-in. My mom bought him a 3-d pirate ship kite last year. It is so cool to watch him get that up in the waves of air!

The next generation of amazing kite flyer's!
Nathan did a great job flying his kite flying his dragon kite.
