Nathan's Spring Field Trip to the National Mall 2010...

One of the great things about living in the Nation's Capital is the cool field trips that makes history come to life...This was Nathans Kindergarten class trip to the National mall. This little boy was Avadid, he came to America just a month or so before this field trip. He moved from the middle east so there family could have a better life. Nathan was asked to sit by him in the classroom and to be his special buddy. Nathan is so kind hearted and loves all. What a special opportunity Nathan had to be his friend! Spring 2010 Field Trip to the Nature Center...

One of the best things about Arlington is the Nature Centers. Annie Preschool would go to them a few times a year! This trip all the tadpoles were hatching! Annie loved trying the catch them and hold them!

A Red Sox game with great friends! It was a great night up in Baltimore even though the Red Sox's if I recall right did not do so well. What made the night great is spending it with awesome friends!

Favorite Arlington Yard Activities Spring 2010

One of the kids favorite activities in the yard was to

dig for worms. Most days you could see them out digging for worms, slugs and other

yucky bugs. Annie loved touching them! She did not get that from me!

My Cheetah...

Nathan asked me one day is wishes came true. I said yes they can, but sometimes you have to tell mom or dad the wish, which he did not want to do because then he thought that is would not come true. One night he said that is wanted to tell me his wish. It was to become a CHEETAH!
Well thank heavens for the school fair and a very talented man. He was over the moon excited. His wish had for the most part come true!

My Fancy Annie...

Annie loves "Fancy Nancy" like most little girls her age! She wears this fancy dress most days and asks me if we can eat with our pinkie's up to be more fancy!

LET'S GO RED SOX'S...(Spring 2010)

Our family I'm mean all of us just not Jeff anymore have become big Rex Soxs fans! Nathan has got the sport fever! I catch him up watching sports center in the morning.

We go to every game when they play in Baltimore or D.C.

There is something really fun about watching Major League Baseball game. This is a pre-season opener game. The Sox's came down to D.C. to play the Nationals. We had a great time!

The ride to the Nationals Stadium might be one of the kids favorite part along with all the hot dogs and candy!!!

Plans for the Future...

This was going to be our new home...

Medford Oregon!

We were very excited about living here and were looking forward to moving there with great friends the "Sykes" and living in a beautiful new place. BUT...

Two days before we were going to put the contract in the mail to accept this job in Oregon, a job offer from Utah came to us-which we were not seeking out at that point. The offer in Utah was to work at Utah Valley Regional Center in Provo UT. This is one of the few hospitals Jeff would of work for if offered a job back in January when he went out looking. They told us that they had no positions. We were ok with not going back to Utah and quite looking forward to this new adventure.

This decision to go back to Utah was a very hard one but after a few weeks of stress, praying and fasting with these 2 choices before us, we decided to give Utah a try. We are excited that we had a choice and are looking forward to seeing our family more that 2 times a year! Most of all we are excited that we never have to spend money visiting the good old state of Utah anymore. May be we will finally be able to take a vacation to somewhere other than Utah!!!

I am really proud of Jeffrey and all he has accomplished. After this decision was made and often wondering if we made the right decision -I have had to rely on my faith that the Lord is guiding our family as he always has.

My Grandma Ione...

She is one of my favorite people. She taught me many wonderful things, she is a wonderful friend and support. She always did everything for her grand kids. Grandpa's been gone a year and she is adjusting to life OK. She misses him everyday.
